Stoutland R-II School District Adopts 4-Day School Week

The Stoutland R-II Board of Education met for their regular monthly meeting on March 21, 2019. After reviewing the results of a parent and community survey, the Board acted to adopt a 4-day school week starting with the 2019-2020 school year. 

This is an exciting time for the Stoutland School District! Student achievement is our number one priority. With the adoption of the 2019-2020 calendar, we will be able to retain and hire high quality teachers; putting the focus on instructional time and student success.

The survey indicated an overwhelming support for a 4-day school week, but also highlighted some questions and concerns. School will be in session Monday - Thursday from 7:45AM to 3:45PM. The 2019-2020 official school calendar will be released in the coming days.
